Tito Rodriguez (b. 1974) is a painter based in New York. His process-driven and experimental approach intuitively reimagines the human form, and sometimes animal and other natural subjects, imbuing them with an emotive and visceral resonance. Rodriguez blends gestural, painterly, and drawing based techniques, allowing the well spring of his subconscious to guide the creative process.

For his latest series "Heads," the artist utilizes shellac inks on non-absorbent paper. This medium infuses his work with luminosity and fluidity, resulting in works with an enigmatic, almost hallucinatory quality.

In 1996, Rodriguez earned a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and has exhibited in Spain, London, Peru, Korea, and New York City.
